Some simple promise can lead to big commitments. This dad told his children they would get a puppy if Bobby Ryan scored against the Rangers.
The kids were even holding a sign saying "BOBBY DAD SAID IF YOU SCORE WE GET A PUPPY".
And of course Bobby Ryan did score!
Interviewed after the match, the kids told the NHL they begged for a dog for over 3 month.
